Teun A. Van Dijk

Teun A. van Dijk nasceu em 1943, em Naaldwijk, nos Países Baixos.
Estudou Língua e Literatura Francesa na Universidade Livre de Amesterdão e Teoria da Literatura na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Amesterdão, onde se doutorou em Linguística. Completou a sua formação nas universidades de Estrasburgo, Paris e Berkeley. Foi professor de Estudos do Discurso na Universidade de Amesterdão até 2004.
