Margaret Wise Brown

Margaret Wise Brown nasceu a 23 de maio de 1910, em Brooklyn e morreu em 1952, em Nice, devido a complicações numa intervenção cirúrgica de emergência. Os seus livros para crianças, muitos deles clássicos, como The Runaway Bunny e Boa Noite, Lua, continuam a fazer parte da vida literária das gerações mais novas. Com uma obra de mais de 100 títulos, escreveu também através dos pseudónimos Timothy Hay, Golden MacDonald, e, em colaboração com a autora Edith Thacher Hurd, Juniper Sage.
