Sarah Mlynowski nasceu em Montreal, no Canadá, e licenciou-se em Literatura Inglesa na McGill University. Trabalhou em várias Editoras, em Toronto, até que se mudou para Nova Iorque (onde actualmente vive) para se dedicar à escrita a tempo inteiro.
