ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Paul McAuley

Paul J. McAuley was born in England, on St. George's Day, in 1955. He was a researcher at several universities, including Oxford and UCLA, and for six years he taught Biology at the University of St. Andrews. He began writing after spending time in Los Angeles, and is now a full-time writer. Throughout his work, Paul McAuley has received the following awards: Philip K. Dick Award, Arthur C. Clarke Award, Sidewise Award, John W. Campbell Memorial Award, and the British Fantasy Award.
