When she set eyes on the place, she thinks she hasbeen had until action begins to start.The ghosts do a few things in the hope of scaring her witless to send herscreaming. But their plans backfi re. They adopt Honey as a member oftheir family, like they did in the past, when a homeless boy strayed intotheir over grown garden to hide. He legally becomes the son of all theghosts.Elden grew up under their guidance and is now nearing the end of hislife. The arrival of Honey gives the ghosts a new interest instead ofplaying pranks in unsuspecting peoplelike zooming around the streetin a stolen police car. Now, they have a purpose, which was taken fromthem, when the young son grew up and didnt want to be a pirate chaseany more. He became a lawyer.In the story, there are many characters, real or ghost, to keep the readerenthralled to the very last page. This is not a scary ghost story. Theseones mix with, and help, the towns people.
