Alex North is the pseudonym of a well-known English author.
He studied philosophy at the University of Leeds, where he later worked in the Sociology department before becoming a writer. He lives in Leeds, in the north of England, with his wife and son.
The Whisper Man, the first thriller he wrote under that pseudonym, was a true international success, with its rights sold to more than 20 countries.
