Zuzana Ruzickova nascida em 1927, foi uma conceituada cravista checa, que sobreviveu a três campos de trabalho escravo nazis. Gravou mais de cem discos e as suas atuações foram aclamadas por todo o mundo. Esteve casada com o compositor Viktor Kalabis durante mais de 50 anos, até à morte dele, em 2006.
Uma das mais reconhecidas artistas do século XX, foi a primeira cravista a gravar a totalidade da obra de Bach para teclas. Zuzana faleceu em Praga, em 2017, aos 90 anos. Duas fundações, uma em Praga e outra em Washington, D. C., dão continuidade à promoção do trabalho de Zuzana e Viktor.
