O Dr. Yoshinori Nagumo é cirurgião e diretor da Clínica Nagumo em Tóquio. É professor associado da Jikei Medical University e da Kinki University e, desde 2012, é Presidente Honorário da International Anti-Aging Medical Society. Fundou várias clínicas oncológicas no Japão e a sua experiência pessoal levou-o a colocar em prática a dieta de uma refeição por dia, com a qual se mantém em forma há mais de 20 anos.
