Yeon Somin é um talento literário em ascensão na Coreia, que deixou a sua marca tanto na escrita literária como na televisão. Recebeu vários elogios desde que iniciou a sua carreira como romancista, em 2022, ano em que recebeu o prémio Korea New Writer’s Award,pelo seu trabalho de estreia, Lazy Kinko.
Yeon contribui ativamente na comunidade de escritores Brunch e trabalhou como autora freelance para vários canais televisivos. No seu tempo livre, encontra paz e harmonia na arte da cerâmica. O Ateliê dos Recomeços é o seu segundo romance.
