William T. Vollmann

William T. Vollmann (1959, Los Angeles, EUA) é o autor de nove romances, incluindo Europe Central, vencedor do National Book Award em 2005. Escreveu também três livros de contos, uma memória e seis obras de não-ficção, entre as quais Rising Up and Rising Down e Imperial, ambas finalistas do National Book Critics Circle Award. Vollmann foi igualmente premiado com o PEN Center USA West Award, o Whiting Writer’s Award e o Strauss Living Award, atribuído pela Academia Americana de Artes e Letras. Vive na Califórnia.
