William Bee é artista e designer. Nasceu na cidade de Londres, mas agora vive no campo, em Inglaterra. Para além de escrever livros para crianças, corre num carro desportivo antigo, é esquiador internacional, e quando está em casa gosta de tratar do seu jardim.

Grande Coisa é o seu primeiro livro (e também o primeiro editado em Portugal), seguindo-se Beware of the frog e And the train goes, ambos originais da Walker Books ainda não traduzidos para português.
