Víctor Mora

Víctor Mora nasceu em Barcelona em 1931.
Depois do exílio em França, com a derrota da República na Guerra Civil de Espanha, regressou mais tarde à sua cidade, trabalhando com livros e já politicamente empenhado na luta antifascista, tendo feito parte do Partido Socialista Unificado da Catalunha.
Foi preso por motivos políticos em 1957 e foi obrigado a exilar-se novamente.
Foi nesse período que produziu Os Plátanos de Barcelona, demonstrando a sua profunda ligação à Catalunha e a Espanha.
Autor de uma vasta e multifacetada obra, de que se destaca particularmente a banda desenhada, faleceu em 2016.
