Vera Ximenes nasceu no Rio de Janeiro em 1977. Entrou no mercado de trabalho através da engenharia civil e depois enveredou pelas artes, a sua grande paixão. Ainda no Brasil formou-se em Letras e especializou-se no ensino bilingue português/inglês de crianças e adolescentes. Movida pelo Amor, foi em 2005 que viajou para Portugal onde acabou por se formar em Educação de Infância. Desde sempre expressou os seus sentimentos, pensamentos e emoções através do desenho mas agora exalta esta capacidade, dando vida e forma à personagem que marcará para sempre a sua existência… Mãe Borboleta!
