Vasco Peixoto Freitas

Full Professor (Construction) in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto – FEUP and Director of the Laboratory of Physics and Construction Technology. Member of the CONSTRUCT R&D unit.
Lecturer for the curricular units Building Physics, Building Thermal Engineering, and Building Pathology and Rehabilitation. He has supervised approximately two dozen doctoral theses and coordinated or participated in more than a dozen research projects. He is the author or co-author of approximately 400 scientific and pedagogical publications. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Order of Engineers. As a consultant and designer, he is the author of more than 1000 studies and projects in the following fields: Hygrothermal Behavior; Pathology and Rehabilitation; Natural Ventilation and Thermal Behavior.
