Vanda Anastácio, nasceu em Lisboa, em 1958. É Professora Associada da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, doutorada em Estudos Portugueses.
É membro integrado do Centro de Estudos Clássicos da Universidade de Lisboa e colabora regularmente com outros centros de investigação em Portugal e no Brasil. Entre as suas publicações destacam-se edições críticas de autores portugueses dos séculos XVI a XVIII.
Nos últimos anos, tem trabalhado sobre escritoras portuguesas anteriores a 1900. É também autora da nota bibliográfica do livro Obras Poéticas, da coleção Biblioteca Fundamental da Literatura Portuguesa. Desde 2015, coordena o Gabinete Cultural da Fundação das Casas de Fronteira e Alorna.
