Valerio Massimo Manfredi

Valerio Massimo Manfredi (1943) is an archaeologist, researcher, and topographer of the Ancient World. Currently teaching at the University of Bologna, he has published numerous academic articles and several works of fiction, including the famous trilogy about the life of... Alexander the Great, whose rights have been sold to 38 countries and which gave rise to a film by Universal Pictures. His work has sold over six million copies worldwide.
His novels are already listed in the Porto Editora catalog. The Lost Army (2009), which won the 2008 Bancarella Prize, and Ides of March (2011).
