Valérie Perrin

Novelist and one of the most important authors in the current French literary panorama, Valérie Perrin was born in 1967 in Remiremont, Vosges. In 1986, he left Burgundy, where he grew up, to settle in Paris. The Brief Life of Flowers, the author's first novel published in Portugal, has already been translated into more than 30 languages, was awarded the Maison de la Presse and Prix des Lecteurs awards and became the best-selling book in Italy in the year of its publication. Valérie Perrin, who was also a scene photographer and set designer, together with her partner Claude Lelouch, lives in Normandy.
