Ulrich Schnabel

Ulrich Schnabel estudou Física e Jornalismo em Karlsruhe e Berlim e escreve para a secção de ciência do semanário Die Zeit. Ao serviço daquele jornal, foi distinguido em 2006 com o Prémio Georg-Von-Holtzbrinck para Jornalismo Científico. Três anos depois publicou, na editora Blessing, Die Vermessung des Glaubens (A Medição da Fé, em tradução literal), que foi considerado Livro Científico do Ano 2009 pela revista Bild der Wissenschaft. Em outubro de 2010, recebeu o Prémio Werner e Inge Grüter de Divulgação Científica. O seu livro Muße. Vom Glück des Nichtstuns (Ócio. Da Felicidade de Não Fazer Nada), publicado em 2010, é um bestseller internacional.
