Tony Buzan é o inventor dos Mapas Mentais e autor de best-sellers como O Poder da Inteligência, O Poder da Inteligência Criativa, O Poder da Inteligência Espiritual e A Criança Inteligente.
Nasceu em 1942, em Londres, vindo a formar-se na Universidade da Colúmbia Britânica (Canadá). Tem desempenhado funções de conselheiro em departamentos governamentais e empresas multinacionais, bem como em equipas olímpicas britânicas de atletismo, remo e xadrez.
Os seus programas de televisão, incluindo as séries Use Your Head, na BBC e In Search of Genius, na BBC2, fizeram dele uma estrela dos meios de comunicação. Dá conferências em todo o mundo, e a sua obra está publicada em cem países e em trinta línguas.
