Tó de Porto d'Ave
Tó de Porto d'Ave, as António Dulcídio Vieira Soares signs his literary work, is the sixth of ten siblings. He was born on April 29, 1970, near the beautiful Sanctuary of Our Lady of Porto d'Ave, erected in the first half of the 18th century in a village of the same name. It is on the steps and in the shade of the linden trees of this sanctuary, or on the banks of the Ave River, that he takes refuge to write a large part of his texts, especially his first published book. 'Trip to the Pilgrimage', where he passionately recounts his pilgrimage and his homeland. He triumphed with the story, 'Samuel', the Antônio Celestino literary contest, in 2017, the year in which the centenary of the birth of the honored author was celebrated.
