Timo Leiviskä
Timo Leiviskä was born in Oulu, Finland in 1981. He studied architecture between 2000 - 2012 at University of Oulu and 2005 - 2006 at FAUP in Porto, Portugal.
During studies, he worked at architect's offices of Ilpo Väisänen and Jukka Laurila.
In 2007 he opened his own office after receiving a commission from a student’s competition for one of the two types of Art and Design Villas built to Anttolanhovi wellness resort.
Villas were published in several Finnish and international books, journals and exhibitions.
Leiviskä currently works at Lukkaroinen Architects and has taken part in design teams behind competitions and construction of Hiukkavaara multi purpose building and Pudasjärvi Log School Campus among other projects.
Timo Leiviskä teaches at Oulu School of Architecture as an assistant teacher of Building Performance and Construction since 2008 and of Contemporary Architecture since 2009.
