Tim Minchin

Tim Minchin is an internationally acclaimed songwriter, pianist, singer, comedian, actor, and writer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Australia, majoring in English and Theatre. His debut show, Dark Side, launched it into the public eye, achieving critical success at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2005 and in Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
In addition to his sold-out musical and comedy tours, he is the author of the show's music and lyrics. Matilda, the Musical and of Groundhog Day, both distinguished with the Olivier Award for Best New MusicalTim is also the co-creator of the award-winning television comedy series. UprightShe lives with her family in Sydney, Australia.
