Tim Allman foi criado em Worcestershire, Inglaterra, onde, infelizmente, não sabia nem por sombras tanto sobre problemas ambientais como sabem as crianças de hoje.
Estudou Botânica e Preservação da Natureza na universidade e depois abandonou um emprego absolutamente «normal» para fugir e participar em manifestações contra a construção de estradas.
Isso levou a uma década passada como ativista ambiental e a um compromisso duradouro de trabalho por mudanças sociais e ambientais.
