Tilda Markström (1923 – 2012) Nasceu em Ystad, Sul da Suécia. 1955. Acaba o curso de Pintura na Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Estocolmo. 1960. Frequenta a FOTOSKOLAN, Escola de Fotografia de Estocolmo (fundada e dirigida pelo Mestre Christer Strömholm). 1965. Viagens (Europa e Estados Unidos). 1968 a 1973. Reside em Londres. Primeiras exposições. 1974. Regressa à Suécia e passa a viver em Estocolmo. Realiza exposições de Pintura, Fotografia, ilustra livros, escreve para jornais e revistas culturais. 1996. Fixa residência em Ystad embora mantenha a casa de Estocolmo.
