Nasceu no Funchal em 1979 e viveu em Carviçais (Torre de Moncorvo) até aos 19 anos.
É licenciado em Ciências Farmacêuticas e estuda Literatura e Filosofia na Universidade de Lisboa.
Começou a ser publicado entre 2007 e 2010, nas colectâneas Jovens Escritores, do Clube Português de Artes e Ideias.
Venceu vários prémios em poesia (Daniel Faria, Natércia Freire) e teatro (Luso-Brasileiro) e publicou O Livro das Aves, Cartas de Praga, Checoslováquia.
Escreve para as companhias Estaca Zero e Ponto Teatro (Porto) e para a companhia teatromosca (Sintra).
Alguns dos seus textos estão publicados em França, Egipto, Eslovénia e República Checa. Trás-os-Montes é o seu primeiro romance.
