Thea Guanzon é uma autora filipina best-seller internacional nº 1, do New York Times, do USA Today e da Indie List. Nascida e criada no meio dos vastos canaviais da cidade de Bacolod, mudou-se para a região metropolitana de Manila, onde se formou em Estudos Internacionais pelo Miriam College. Anteriormente, trabalhou em gestão eleitoral e direitos das mulheres, escrevendo fanfics em blocos de notas durante o horário de almoço, até que as suas histórias chamaram a atenção de editores americanos e o resto, como dizem, é história.
