Teresa Vicente

Teresa Vicente nasceu em Lisboa em 1959.
Bilingue, ela estudou Francês, Relações Internacionais, Psicologia e Ordenamento do Território.
Doutorada em Ambiente e Sustentabilidade pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa, desenvolveu a sua investigação na área da resiliência das organizações na Marinha Portuguesa.
Ela foi a facilitadora da Plataforma Nacional de Redução de Risco de Catástrofes e da Campanha Making Cities Resilient das Nações Unidas.
Desde 2009 é colaboradora graciosa do International Strategy for Disaster Reduction, e desde 2018 da Association Africaine pour la promotion de la Réduction des Risques de Catastrophe.
Atualmente, ela reside na ilha de São Miguel (Açores).
