Teresa Chambel é licenciada em Arquitetura Paisagista pelo Instituto Superior de Agronomia, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. Participou em vários projetos de restauro e recuperação de jardins históricos nomeadamente na recuperação do Jardim Botânico da Ajuda, na elaboração do Plano Diretor de Restauro do Jardim do Cerco. Teve uma rubrica de jardins no programa Mundo das Mulheres na Sic Mulher. Tem uma rubrica quinzenal sobre Jardins e Plantas na RTP 1 no programa Praça da Alegria. Colabora regularmente com a revista Jardins. Autora do blogue Um Jardim para Cuidar.
