Adora escrever sobre animais turbulentos e aventuras malucas. Mas não só. Atualmente, trabalha com várias editoras, criando um pouco de tudo, de ficção a não ficção, passando por livros ilustrados.
Swapna mora na Nova Zelândia com o marido, o filho e o cão, Archie. Quando não está a escrever, geralmente está a ler, a fantasiar sobre a possibilidade de um dia vir a morar num barco ou a comer bolachas de chocolate com recheio.
