Susel Pereira Gaspar reside em Mértola e é professora bibliotecária. Sempre gostou de escrever, especialmente de trazer à tona memórias e encantes de outros tempos, ou de despertar inquietações, perguntas, sorrisos e até gargalhadas, a partir daquilo que mais a emociona.
Possui vários contos publicados: Conversa com o Passado (1992); As Folgas da Lua Cheia (2022, coletânea Que o Caminho Não nos Fuja); Um Estranho no Cimo da Árvore (2022, revista Palavrar, n.º 2); O meu avô deve andar por aí (2024, revista Palavrar, n.º 7); O Livro Perdido (2024, coletânea Contos de Estrelas, Pirilampos e Alguns Bichos-Carpinteiros).
