Stephanie Vasconcelos nasceu na Rússia, em 1989. Filha de uma mãe russa e de um pai luso-angolano, cresceu em Portugal até completar o ensino secundário. Em Inglaterra, estudou Comunicação e Língua Francesa e é mestre em Jornalismo Multimédia. Atualmente, mãe e casada, reside em Angola onde é especialista em comunicação para uma multinacional. Já viveu em sete países e é pela escrita que aborda a realidade do multiculturalismo, identidade racial, migração a interseccionalidade como plataformas para a compreensão do ser humano e para a sua própria compreensão. A Tua Melanina é o seu primeiro livro.
