Sónia Morais Santos nasceu em Lisboa, em 1973. Licenciada em Ciência da Comunicação, começou a trabalhar como jornalista depois de ter respondido a um anúncio de jornal. Começou com Pedro Rolo Duarte, em projetos como Mundo de Aventuras ou Falatório e, mais tarde, no DNA. Passou pelas redações do Diário de Notícias e da Time Out até se aventurar a trabalhar como free lancer.
