Sônia Dalseco nasceu na cidade mineira cujo nome já é um poema – Belo Horizonte.
Estudou jornalismo na Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais.
É artista plástica, tendo feito três exposições em sua cidade natal.
Mora na cidade vizinha, Contagem, lugar que a inspira todos os dias.
Seu primeiro livro é fruto de uma experiência transcendental com um garoto de apenas quatro anos.
