SIU

Lee Jong-hui, mais conhecido pelo pseudónimo SIU (Slave In Utero), nasceu em 20 de maio de 1986 e é licenciado em Artes Visuais. A sua jornada no mundo dos webtoons começou durante o serviço militar obrigatório, quando um superior o incentivou a desenhar.

Começou então a criar cartoons e personagens, alimentando uma paixão que viria a tornar-se a base da sua carreira. O artista dedicou-se a desenhar «dez livros» de banda desenhada, que serviram de base ao seu trabalho mais conhecido: Tower of God.

Ao longo de mais de seis meses, publicou esta obra na Challenge League da Naver, alcançando grande prestígio e, posteriormente, uma publicação oficial nesse mesmo site. O lançamento de Tower of God não demorou a conquistar os fãs e a ganhar notoriedade, tornando-se um fenómeno global.
