Nasceu em Fígueres há pouco mais de 39+1 anos. Tem um trabalho apaixonante na Rádio Catalunha desde 1987. Casou-se uma única vez e tem dois filhos e umas quantas amigas íntimas com quem vai às compras. Tal como a protagonista do livro, odeia o Carnaval e está completamente à vontade com o facto de não saber fazer croquetes. Por outro lado, é escritora há 25 anos e tem já oito livros publicados, entre contos e romances, estando actualmente a escrever um romance passado durante o regime franquista.
