Silvestre António Ourives Marques, Mestre em Teologia e Ética da Saúde e Doutor em Filosofia pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa, onde leccionou e é investigador no CEFi; Doutor em Direito Canónico pela Universidade Pontifícia Lateranense de Roma.
Professor e já Presidente do Instituto Superior de Teologia de Évora.
Membro do Conselho Científico do Centro de Altos Estudos Evangelii Gaudium do Instituto Universitário SOPHIA de Loppiano (FI - Itália) com o qual colabora quase desde o seu início em 2007.
Postulador da Causa de Beatificação e Canonização de Chiara Lubich, Fundadora do Movimento dos Focolares.
