Sérgio Pereira nasceu em Mirandela em 1978. Licenciado em Ciências da Comunicação pela Universidade Fernando Pessoa, começou a trabalhar no Desporto Digital, passou pelo Diário de Notícias e está desde 2003 no Maisfutebol. Quando era criança chegou a gostar de um clube, e não era o Benfica. Depois de As melhores Histórias do Futebol Mundial, Ninguém Pára o Benfica! é o segundo livro que escreve.
