Sergio Bambarén, (1960), Lima, Peru. Frequentou o British High School na capital peruana e nos E.U.A. cursou Engenharia Bioquímica. Foi em Portugal, no Guincho, que encontrou a inspiração para assinar o seu primeiro romance O Golfinho:História de Um Sonho, livro que se tornou num bestseller internacional. Após uma longa temporada em Sidney, Bambarén vive agora, uma vez mais, na sua terra natal, a cidade de Lima.
