O Dr. Walter Gorn Old (1864-1929) foi um eminente teosofista inglês e um notável místico e astrólogo dos séculos XIX e XX, mais conhecido como Sepharial. Estudou inicialmente medicina e prosseguiu com estudos em psicologia, línguas orientais, astrologia e numerologia. Em 1886, começou a escrever uma rubrica de astrologia no Society Times, onde respondia às perguntas do público. Foi também editor do Old Moore's Almanac e um dos membros fundadores do movimento teosófico em Inglaterra. O seu legado no campo da astrologia é enorme e permanece até aos dias de hoje.
