Sarah Blake nasceu em Nova Iorque. É autora de Full Turn (poesia), Runaway Girls (álbum) e estreou-se no romance com Grange House que teve, desde logo, as melhores críticas. Escreve em variados jornais e revistas, nomeadamente Good Housekeeping, US News, World Report e The Chicago Tribune. Ensina Escrita Criativa na University of Maryland e na George Washington University. Vive em Washington, DC, com o marido, o poeta Josh Weiner, e os dois filhos.
