Sanne Vogel (nascida em 1984) é atriz, realizadora, argumentista, escritora – e amante de gatos. Antes de se dedicar aos livros, já tinha uma carreira estabelecida no teatro e no cinema, tendo escrito e realizado várias peças de teatro e filmes. Enquanto atriz, participou em filmes e séries de televisão.

Estreou-se na literatura com o romance Senhor Gato, uma história inspirada no seu próprio gato, que tocou profundamente a sua vida e a do seu bairro.

Sanne Vogel vive em Amesterdão com o companheiro e os filhos gémeos.
