Sandrine Revel
Sandrine Revel was born on October 3, 1969 in Bordeaux, a region she never abandoned. Her first works were thanks to the local press, and she soon became a leading designer. His very personal style, with a great sensitivity, also works wonders both in terms of comics for children ("An Unusual Guardian Angel" received an Alph-Art prize in Angoulême in 2001) and in humour ("Bla Bla Bla" by Éditions Cycliste) or for more intimate narratives such as the text of his stay in New York at the time of the attacks of September 11 ("Le 11e jour", da Delcourt). The
his assumed influences are eloquent: Ralph Steadman and Ronald Searle, two giants of drawing. In comics, and after three years in a Fine Arts course, she published "Jouvence la Bordelaise" from the Atlantic Production editions in 1996, "Bla bla bla!" from the Le Cycliste editions in 1998 and finally "Un Drôle d'Ange Gardien" with Denis-Pierre Filippi, from Delcourt. The success of "Un Drôle d'Ange
Gardien" is well proven by the fact that this year the fifth title in this series is released in French, by Delcourt.
