Sandra Oliveira nasceu em Lisboa, em 1972. Mãe desde os 28 anos, considera que a experiência da maternidade foi o seu maior crescimento. Aos 32 anos, opta por mudar de rumo profissional. Funda o BioNascimento em 2005. Esta plataforma tem servido de suporte para algo totalmente novo em Portugal: o esclarecimento, o apoio e a implementação de mudanças em prol do parto fisiológico e das intervenções estritamente necessárias. Em Portugal, Sandra é a única doula certificada pela DONA International. É conselheira de aleitamento materno pela OMS/Unicef e instrutora de massagem do bebé pela APMI desde 2005. É também formadora de preparação para o parto, no seu programa Nascer Saudável, e conta com centenas de casais apoiados nestas valências.
