Samad Behrangi (24 de junho de 1939, Tabriz, 31 de agosto de 1967), foi um professor iraniano, ativista social e crítico, folclorista, tradutor e contista de ascendência azerbaijana. É famoso pelos seus livros infantis, com especial destaque para «O Peixinho Preto».
Os seus livros retratam tipicamente a vida dos filhos dos pobres das urbes e encorajam o indivíduo a mudar as suas circunstâncias pelas suas próprias iniciativas.
