Sally Rooney was born in 1991 and lives in Dublin. Her work has appeared in magazines. The New Yorker, Granta, The White Revision, Dublin Review and The Stinging FlyHis first novel, Conversations between Friends, it was book of the year for the Sunday Timesthe Observer and the Telegraph, and entered the shortlist of Dylan Thomas Prizeof Desmond Elliott Prize and of Rathbones Folio AwardRooney won the award. Sunday Times/PFD Young Writer of the Year. Normal People integrated the longlist of Man Booker Prize, however, it has received numerous awards and has been adapted, with enormous success, into a television series.
