Ruth Franklin

Ruth Franklin é crítica literária e ex-diretora da revista The New Republic. O ser primeiro trabalho biográfico, Shirley Jackson: A Rather Haunted Life, ganhou o National Book Critics Circle Award, tendo sido nomeada uma das obras mais notáveis de 2026 pelo New York Times e um dos melhores livros de não-ficção de 2016 pela Time. Com o livro A Thousand Darknesses: Lies and Truth in Holocaust Fiction (Oxford University Press, 2011), foi finalista do prémio Smi Rohr para Literatura Judaica. Publica frequentemente com o The New Yorker, The New York Times Book Review, The New York Review of Books e Harper’s, é bolseira de vários institutos e ganhou também o prémio Roger Shattuck de crítica. Mora em Brooklyn, Nova Iorque.
