Rute Sousa Vasco é jornalista, diretora de conteúdos do Portal SAPO, e coautora do programa de televisão «The Next Big Idea», exibido na SIC Notícias. Iniciou a sua atividade profissional no jornal Público e foi editora na revista Exame, no jornal Euronotícias e na revista Ganhar do Jornal de Negócios. Frequentou o curso de Relações Internacionais no Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas e tem uma Pós-graduação em Marketing pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa e uma Pós-graduação em Televisão e Cinema pela mesma universidade.
