Rui Tentúgal, jornalista, nasceu no Porto em 1968 e estudou na Escola Superior de Jornalismo. Trabalhou no jornal "A Capital" de 1989 a 1999, primeiro como jornalista na delegação do Porto e a partir de 1996 na redação em Lisboa, onde foi coordenador da secção de Espetáculos e de vários cadernos de cultura e televisão. Entrou em 2000 para a revista "Focus", como editor de fecho, sendo nomeado editor executivo e chefe de redação. Em 2001 mudou-se para o Expresso, como jornalista, passou a coordenador, primeiro nos cadernos culturais "Cartaz" e "Atual" e, até dezembro de 2019, na revista "E". É editor de fecho do Expresso desde janeiro de 2020.
