Rui Teixeira da Mota

Rui Teixeira da Mota nascido em 1966 no Alto-Zambeze, leste de Angola junto à fronteira com a Zâmbia. Ainda muito jovem veio para Portugal na ponte aérea da descolonização. Desde cedo mostrou grande interesse pela literatura, tornando-se um ávido leitor. A escrita surgiu por via da poesia.
Foi bancário e representante sindical. Com formação académica em Ciências Sociais e Políticas e possui uma pós-graduação em Gestão de Relações Laborais.
Foi radialista, blogueiro e escreveu em publicações on-line.
O ensaio O Elogio da Ganância é o segundo livro da trilogia do Elogio, depois de ter publicado: O Elogio da Sabujice (2022).
Anteriormente, havia publicado dois romances: Lá Onde Angola Acaba e a Zâmbia Começa (2017) e O Tempo das Heras ou o Breviário do Comendador (2021).
