Rui Manuel Pinto Costa

Rui Manuel Pinto Costa (Lamego, 1975) é licenciado em História e mestre em História Contemporânea pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto. Dedicando-se aos domínios da historiografia moderna e contemporânea, as suas principais áreas científicas de investigação abrangem a História da Saúde, da Medicina e das Ciências Biomédicas em Portugal. É investigador do CITCEM-FLUP (Centro de Investigação Transdisciplinar Cultura, Espaço e Memória - Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto). Actualmente, desenvolve um projecto de doutoramento onde procura abordar historicamente a estruturação e normalização da oncologia como área científica e o seu relacionamento com a luta social contra o cancro.
